Video 3 of 4 – “Sustain” the Environmental Improvements
If you’ve flown on a plane, you’ll know that boarding a plane should be a very methodical process by now.
However, we all know that is not the case.
Many airlines like United Airlines have tried to improve their visuals, to make it more clear what group is boarding, and where everyone should stand. They also post the boarding group number on the display, since it’s hard to hear them when they call it out over the PA system.
It hasn’t solved all the confusion, but it has made it much easier as a passenger.
This is an example of a visual control, one of the tools related to establishing controls in a process. The more visuals you can embed into your processes, the higher success rate your projects will have.
